POSITION: Provider Relations Data Specialist

 

UNIT: Quality Improvement/Provider Relations Department

 

LOCATION: Chapel Hill

 

SALARY RANGE : $36,439 - $47,049 - $54,659 GRADE: 70

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide a mechanism for the Area Authority to develop, coordinate, collect, and manage business and clinical information for regulatory compliance, accreditation compliance and quality management within the Legal Management Entity (LME) and the Provider Community. This will involve the design of databases and spreadsheets, and the collections, analysis, and application of statistical data to develop or enhance administrative and service systems. Work may include planning organizing, implementing, and evaluating programs and projects. The employee may also be occasionally assigned ad hoc special projects.

 

HOURS OF WORK:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires Bachelor’s degree three years of direct related experience in data management duties and responsibilities specified preferably in mental health, developmental disabilities or substance abuse area. Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills required. Prior experience in conducting training is preferred. Incumbent must be able to perform job duties in a culturally competent manner. A valid NC driver’s license with driving record acceptable to OPC insurance carrier is required.
